I have downloaded an ocx (and accompaning code) from a company's site - this sticks a big green button on one of the windows of their program. All this was fine and good while I was developing with it but I now need it to go away (all perfectly legal if anyone was worrying)!! It comes with a .REG file that sets up this button on the program's window. My thought was to unregister the ocx, delete the .reg, edit the registry entry and re-register the ocx.

Does this sound right to all you out there as I am reluctant go play around in the registry without being entirely certain of what I am doing.

Hopefully you can come to my rescue again!! ;-)
