I have a machine that is running Windows NT 4.0 server which is a domain controller. After the weekend, I cannot log on as Administrator, it says invalid password and if I log on as a NT Account I get this message --> local policy of this system does not permit yout to logon interactively.

Does this mean the security database has been corrupted? Thanks for any help

Either that - or someone has been tampering with the machine (which effectively means the same thing). Can you reset the Administrator password (faq96-2866)? You can then check if policy has been applied prohibiting local access to other account(s).
