have a conditional but need VB

i have this formula that will look at the cell above and below to see if it is within "X" (10) amount less or more than in that cell. does anyone have a script that would resemble this effect? i am just recently getting familiar with VB, which does wonders for my work, but a slight learning curve!! please help!

I have not done anything with Offset yet, since reading your last post I have been looking @ what it does. Looks kinda complicated. While researching that option does anyone have a quicker answer?

still seeing what offset is all about in the meantime.....
