Has anyone done some work using VFP to access a VoIP system?

Thanks, Mike, for asking the question: I'm researching the exact same thing. I haven't found any good answers yet though.

What I've found is that there are multiple competing standards; SIP and H.323

Finally (probably most interesting), TurboPower Async Professional used to be a commercial software but was open-sourced, and claims to support Voip... I haven't investigated it yet, but I remember TurboPower Async supported multiple interfaces, including ActiveX.

I'd appreciate hearing what you find works with VFP.

I'm only starting to investigate this subject. Just so we are clear, I'm investigating it from the provider side (We are a telecom provider).

Okay... To make it clear, I'm looking at the client side: basically with the intent of automating a VOIP client from within VFP.

I believe this would be at the other end on my research. I need to get to the provider side first, before investigating the client-side.

Thanks Ralph, Skype might do it for us. I did research it a while ago, but I hadn't found this SDK.
