Can someone tell me how I find out the Hardware Path of Tape Drives in Windows 2000, I'm looking for something like \\.\TapeX for 4 drives.

looks like linux/unix paths, in windows it´s i.e c:\, d:\ and so on.
whats ur prob, what do u wanne do?

These are windows hardware paths for tape drives alright - turns out I hadn't the drivers installed properly!
