I have just completed upgrading a system to an AMD Athlon 1.33 GHZ. The only thing different is the motherboard, chip and case. All the old parts were thrown back into this new system. Everything seems to boot and work fine. But when I have to reboot the system, whether by menu or after loading driver, the hard drive is never found. The only way I can get the system to boot up successfully, is to hit "Reset" button or turn it off and then back on. I assume it has something with an old drive (10GB, 2 years old) and the speed of the system, but it boots 100% of the time when I hit the power switch or reset, and 0% of the time when I reboot using menu or any other method.
