I had 2 hard disks & they were partitioned to 6. My boot partition got bad sectors & Win XP crashed. Now XP not let me install o tha partition because it has bad sectors. Before this happen I had a partition that was on the other pysical disk, which was encrypted with Truecrypt.
But now when I install XP to another partition & try to acess that encrypted partition, ruecrypt does not identify it. I haven't done anything to that partition while I installing XP again. The bad sectores generated on the other physical drive.
Is there anyway for me to recoverthe lost Truecrypt encrypted partition? Please help.

Yes the TrueCrypt team is anonymous. I think ti would be safe to assume that some sort of encyption key was stored on your bootable drive when you encrypted the other partition. I would suppose if you could pull that key off of the HD you could somehow manage to decrypt the drive and recover the data, however unless the data is THAT important I would just format the drive.

Encryption would not be encryption if it was easily deciphered. I wish you well but fear the outcome or rather lack of outcome.

The only thing I can suggest is that you download the program again and read the enclosed manual for any further information.

Perhaps your best opportunity would be salvaging the old data from the faulty drive.
