i forgot to write down the cylinder information from the bios for this particular hard drive. im installing into another computer and i dont know what to set the bios setting too. all i have is Carvair 2420 (at compatible intelligent drive) drive parameters: 989 cyl , 15 heads , 56 spt ,425.3 mb . how do i find out the other settings? thanks

uhm what other settings? most likely you leave tham at default

Hi rdbuzo ,

That's all you need, that's all you need!!!!
That can make your drive accessible. Just one
advice, don't relie on that drive, it is old enough
to be trashed at any monent. Sudden death is
something that you never expected.
