I have read and used Ramani's code to hack FRX files.
Do LBX files require same code with modifications?
Thanks
Tony

Tony,
Yes, a Label file is very similar to a Report file.

Thanks Rick,
Should hacked LBX(T) and FRX(T) be included when compiling
or should the hacked files get sent seperately in the APP Folder like other DBFs, etc. ?
I appreciate the speedy reply.
Tony

Thanks Jim,
The reason I ask is I think I read somewhere that
hacked frx should NOT be compiled so as to work with different users' printers. If NOT compiled, the blank Tag fields will default to default user printers which it will not do if compiled?
Tony

In my applications I haven't had any reason to exclude reports from the exe's. I run the hack, build the exe, and everything works fine, regardless of printer type.

Jim

Tony,
It's just if you open the report or label file after you've hacked it, VFP will put back the printer data! Of course VFP 8.0 & 9.0 allow you to change that.

Rick

Rick,
Thanks for the follow up.
How can printer data get back into the hacked FRX or LBX file at user site if compiled as part of the EXE?
