Group,

I want to attach a Audiocodes MP114 to a CS1000, we have managed to get the box to register, but we cannot progress to dial ( we get dial tone and we can dial - but timeout occurs.)

We suspect the dial plan is incorrect but no one is sure, we have a Cisco ATA working fine , so we tried to copy the setings for that - but no go.

Do anyone have an "Idiots guide to connecting any H323 endpoint to a CS1000? "

Thanks in advance - Paul

That's the more common fault.
First: Did your ATA is registered in NRS?
Second: Routing entries must exist for incoming calls from PBX to ATA
Third: The problem is in your ATA config. Go to "DTMF and Dialing" menu and validate all protocols in DTMF options.

Give prints if more infos are necessary to help you

Thanks for the assistance, I cannot check this immediately as I cannot get access tothe CS1000 till 23rd Jan. I really appreciate the pointers and will implement as sson as I can, hopefully your offer to further help will be still avalaible

Thanks - we got this working - the route codes were incorrect
