H323 1616 phones unable to call out via Sip trunks

When H323 1616 phones try to call out using short code 9N on the Sip trunks, it appears after only dialling 3 digits the call is sent out and therefore disconnected. They have a release 9.1 server edition sending calls via an Avaya SBCE to the SIP provider..

Alternately it appears if the CLID is withheld from being sent out on an outgoing call the call can be made..

Any help or advice would be much appreciated..

Note The Communicator soft phone does not have an issue

You need to make the shortcodes hold off until dialling is complete, by using xxx's to match length or the ; character in ARS to force the dial delay timer to be used
