I currently have a DCS network over TIE lines including multiple standalone Intuity systems and a Message Networking Server. Switches are predominately S8500 of the CM4.x variety. Call routing is hub and spoke off a S8700. My sys cust screen is completely covered in y.
I am converting to H.323 over my MPLS (I'm not cool enough to have SIP yet). I was thinking that to add to my flexibility I would switch to QSIG over the H.323 and drop the DCS. Still in test and I can place calls just fine and receive my proper digits and name at the far end plus see name and number at the near end but it falls apart when a remote Intuity answers. Instead of getting "Voice Call From Mntneer" I get "Voice Call From Extension 12345" at which point I can't respond via VM.
Not knowing I figured I would ask before experimenting: is this the best I can expect using QSIG in a Message Networking environment? Or am I missing something in the QSIG setup?
Thanks
