Can some one help with setting up a H.323 phone. What type of phone set does it have to be setup as? It's asking for the GateKeeper port, IP and also the H.323 Extension? any Help?????????

You know the type of IP set you are setting up right? like i2004?, port is 4100. IP info is on you or the network crew. You talking NRS/ nortel signaling server? You may want to post a little more info about what you have for someone like Acewarlock or John Poole to help you out.

The phone is a LifeSize Conference phone, it supports H.323 & SIP. I want to try to set it up on our NRS. It is not tested on the Nortel but it has been on a Cisco and Avaya so I want to try it on ours. No confirmation that it will even work but I want to try. It's below zero here so I don't want to go outside so I figured why not. Any help would be great. Thank you.

Get the node ip address for the gatekeeper entry.
IP might be the set ip@
H323 extension is the set extension
NRS may register the set

Give some ip infos you will get for more details

oouups.... not the node addresse but the GK address

Where do you setup the set extension?

i don't know. I guess on the set itself.
I don't know that kind of stuff, that's only my suppositions based on the h323 principle

You can try as a type i2001. This one is also used by Nortel for it's i2033
