GW 6.5 gwinprog?

We have one domain and four po boxes on a nw 6 box. Webaccess is running on the same box. For some reason we keep getting messages into a gwinprog directory. When a message hangs it causes the server(nw 6, latest service pack) to abend with a processor exception error. We did a top down rebuild. This was an in place upgrade from Groupwise 5.5 enhancement pack.

any ideas why the messages are going into gwinprog?
