Hi

I'm trying to create a guide for my webpages that can assist the user in learning where things are located on the site.

What I need is a flash animation (a hand) which passes from one side of the screen and to the other then simulates a click on a link. After that it should wait for the user to click this link and then resume on the next page until the end page is reached. This way I can guide the user through the site to a specific page.

Anyone has an idea if this can be done using flash and perhaps some examples showing somewhat like this.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Kind regards

Siv

Hi,
On the Macromedia site they use this technique to show you how to use Dreamweaver.

I think what you need to do is make movies of the hand simulations, put them on the stage, with blank keyframes at the start so they are invisible on the stage until activated. The buttons can unload the movies and when the user has finished the last action, you can load the next movie. You need to use telltarget action.
I know this may be unclear but it takes a lot of explaining.
If you need more help email me.
