Which is better, using GUID (uniqueidentifiers) or identity(int,1,1) (autoincrement) as a PK-FK combo?

IN general, I use indentity fields, they take up less space and join faster. GUIDs are more necessary if you are trying to coordinate data between multiple servers so that you can guanantee the number is unique no matter which server it was created on. So if you have a server that the northeast region enters their data on, and one the south east enters their data on and a central one whic is updated from the filed servers using replication, then a guid is a good idea.
