I just installed on Ubuntu 9.04 and found a problem that stops the GUI from running. Although it creates the /usr/share/asterisk directory it doesn't create the index.html file. Run these commands and restart Asterisk and see how it goes. This may not apply if you're not running Ubuntu.
- I get 'Failed to connect'. The manager.conf file has 'port=5038' and 'bindaddr=127.0.0.1' so I changed the bindaddr and restarted but no luck. The port=5038 is odd as I'm connecting on 8088 but changing it also has not effect.
