I'm kind of new to Apache. I was wondering if there are GUI tools available for administration purposes such as manipulating the configurations, etc...

if so, which do you recommend?

well, I was more interested in finding a tool that was the best. (and multiplatform)

Webmin may be what you are looking for.

BryanY,

While Webmin may be best for Apache administration, it is not multiplatform (unless you consider different versions of Unix/Linux to be different platforms).

You may be able to find a tool that runs on more than one platform, but in my past experience finding a tool that was both a)good and b)free was difficult. Finding one that is good and multiplatform may have some costs involved.

If you absolutely have to have a GUI for Apache, there may or may not be freeware tools that you can use on your platform of choice.
