GRTD login failure

Hi
Anyone help
we have one user (who is an admin user) who up until 2 days ago could login and use GRTD, now suddenly he can't.
when he fires it up it now says agent database login faliure, i have checked everything and can see no problem even if i try to login in as sysadmin it does not work, yet the SMI workbench works fine and accepts his login
and i have tried re-installong GRTD but to no avail.
his machine is XP and he has admin rights. all other users are fine
any clues anyone? would be much appreaciated

I just had this problem and solved it by making a note of the GRTD_DSN info in Control Panel, Admin Tools, Data Sources, System DSN, Deleting GRTD_DSN and recreating.
