We have a few users who have since left, yet they have e-mail in their GroupWise mailbox that is important to their managers. I was wondering if there is any way to archive a users mailbox and open that archive with a different user? I've archived one user's mailbox but when I specify the path in the archive file location, the archive comes up empty. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

I just give the Group Mgr. Proxy rights to the user who has left. They then create a Rule to Forward all mail to the Mgr. from the other mail box. They also create a Rule to Auto-Reply to incoming E-mail that the user is "no longer with the company." Please direct all mail to So & So. When the mail trafic stops coming into the old user mail box I delete the account. Also this gives you a chance to Unsub. the user from any mail lists.

ok, here is my problem. I want to change an fid in GW 6.5 how do I do this.

The FID editor says it only works through 5.x.

any ideas how to move archived items from one account into a new one in GW 6.5?
