We have an issue with Groupshield for exchange version5.2 on exchange 2003 running on windows2003 active passive cluster. The DAT file update is not happening; we believe that the issue is related to the old scan engine 4.2.60 which prevents the automatic update to happen.
We are planning to try running the superdat on the cluster nodes,. Is there any procedure to run it on the cluster nodes, as Groupshield is a cluster resource should we need to apply the SDAT on the active node having Groupshield resource and then move the resource to the second node and then apply the SDAT on the second node?
Is it necessary to apply it on the node where exchange resources are running (In other words, Can I apply the SDAT on the passive node which does not hold any exchange resources).
