IS-IT--Management
With the increasing prevalence of email borne viruses we have increased our GroupShield dat update interval to every hour.
We have noted a side affect of this.
If you apply an extra.dat to the GroupShield install, when the next update task runs, even if the dat has *not* incremented a version the extra.dat is removed...
Aaaaagh...
Has anyone experienced this and if so how do you work around it.
Besides reducing the update frequency that is.
This occurs whether you apply the update through the GroupShield interface or via ePO.
