grouping of fonts?

Hey there ... is there some way to group my fonts so I can access them a little easier?

I've seen that Illustrator 9 is using some kind of grouping ... at least it is inserting some break lines now and then. How come?

Any help appreciated.

possibly where they are on your system in different folders?
