I'm running vs2003, I have a groupbox, when I set it's flatstyle property to system, it no longer handles events. Is this a bug, or is there another property that needs to be set. I have this same flatstyle set for other controls that are working fine.

It could be one. Check microsoft.com for service packs.

At times if you cut & paste the control, it removes the end part of the event "Handles.ControlName.EventName". I hope that is not the reason.

This you are saying has happened alot times to me. Not with the group box but with button controls. I remember double clicking on it to get the click event and for some reason it appended a "1" at the end. So i had button1_click and button1_click1... but the second one had the "handles button1.click"

Easier to comment out old code and double click the control. You will have the original code back. Then copy paste your code in between the lines.

I guess wasn't clear, the Handler works if I set the FlatStyle property to anything other than System.
