group tick boxes

is there a way of controling 5 tick boxes so that only 1 can be ticked at a time

e.g. if one is true then all the rest are false.

is there something in access that can do this or do i have to write an IF , THEN statement.

Rather than using tick boxes, I would use option buttons in a group in this situtation, as it does exactly what you want.
