Hi everyone,

I have two problems which i would appreciate any help on.

Firstly, i have a group policy for all pupils in the school and somehow i have removed the file menu for internet explorer and i can't get it back. Please can anyone tell me where i have switched it off??

Secondly, I would like to be able to switch off internet access by room (ie ou of computers) rather than by user. I have created ous for each computer room but when i enable the policy, do not run specified windows programs and put in iexplore.exe it doesn't work. Is this because the pupils group policy overides the computer group policy, can anyone see a way round this it is doing my head in!!

Thankyou

Lindsay

Q1. User Config-> Admin Templates-> Windows Components-> Windows Explorer-> Remove File menu from Windows Explorer. This would remove it from IE also.

Q2. Does the Pupils GPO state to allow IE? Try setting the No Override option in the GPO...

Thanks,
