Hi,
I have a tricky Group Policy problem that is stumping me...
I have Three OU's, two of which contain computers and one that contains users.
The Users OU has a group policy that among other things hides all icons on the desktop.
What i need to have happen is when the user logs onto a machine in ComputerOU1, all icons get removed from the desktop, but when they login to the ComputerOU2 the icons are visible, ie the user policy is bound to the computer not the user.
How is this achieved, I think i need to apply a user policy at the computer level, but cant seem to get this to work...I dont want to use Local Computer Policies if I can help it.
Any help appreciated.
Neil
