We had issued some group policies requiring screen savers and such to be a specific screen saver, and timeout and password required were mandated by the group policy.

However, now after about a month of having this in effect, some systems stopped working with it.

Any ideas on why it is no longer taking the policy?

Are these domain level policies, or did you set these on each computer? GPO's set on the DC level should affect all computer accounts in the domain. Try resetting the individual computers giving you trouble. Or taking it off the domain, and deleting the computer account. then pre stage the computer account by creating it B4 you actually join the pc to the domain. then join the pc to the domain after.

How bout creating a seperate OU for computer accounts, and setting the GPO on that OU?

I have 5 OUs. I have set them all seperately per OU.

I have verified the system is in the OU, and one of the machines I had reformatted and reinstalled Win2K SP4 on it and it still does not take the GPO.

Try removing the GPO and reestablishing it again. Did you do the other things I suggested?

What is the DC O/S, 2000, 2003 NT4?
