keep the group policy from overwriting the network profile.

I have about 30 roaming users who logon at different sites.
Some are direct connect via DSL,T1 ect, some are dial ups

I have a dial up user GP but do not have a network GP

So when the user tries to login to the network the Terminal Server policy over rides the
profile.

Thanks in advance

you neeed to use loopback processing (computer policy). With that you can assign user policies to a computer. When a user logs into that computer the "user" settings for the computer will be applied to every user that logs in.

In the loopback processing you can tell it to replace or merge with the user's group policies. In this case you would want to to replace. That way none of there normal group policies will affect it.

Just do a google or microsoft search for loopback. It is kinda funky, and takes a good few times of reading though it to understand it. But very useful especially for terminal servers.

let us know how it goes

Can you not set the TS GPO to deny read and apply to roaming users?
