In GP I saw at one time a way to disable Windows Firewall and had enabled it. No I am trying to locate it and can not, does anyone seem to know where it is?
 
Computer Policy > Admin Templates > Network > Network Connections > Windows Firewall

All settings are in there for the forewall on XP SP2.
 
djtech2k, you deserve a star for the correct answer. Hey, they're free to give and it's nice to receive one every now and then! Right?

You're a better person than me...I will not reply to questions that can be easily answered with a simple search.
