Group policy folder redirection

Hi Guys,

I want to use group policy to redirect desktop to a folder depending upon the computer you are logged into. For example computer A may have Word on it, but not computer B. So I don't want the icon for word on computer B to appear.

I have fiddled about with the folder redirect and permissions on redirected folders, but can't find a slick way to do this.

any help would be much appreciated.

why don't you create a different policy for each group/certain machine that you want the policy to run.
