Can Group Policy be applied to groups. In my testing i have found that it does not work. I have read a few sites that say it can...and a few that say it cannot.
Example:
If i have an OU called "Sales" and in the sales OU i add a group called "Sales Policy". Now if i add the users i want to have the policy applied too, to the group "Sales Policy" the policy does not work. It only works if i put the actual users in the "Sales" OU.
So in short, can an OU have a Group inside which the group policy is applied to the OU. The users are NOT in the OU just the group.
Sounds confusing but i am sure if you are familiar with Group Policy it will make sense.
Thanks,
SOKO
