Hello.
We've just started to use group policy to deploy software to users and computers, however, different users require different software requirements. For example, everyone wants office 2000 but only certain people want Project 2000. To achieve this we have created two group policies, at domain level the default will Assign office to the computers and a secondary policy will assign project to users who belong to a security group called "ProjectUsers". My question is this; if a user who dials in over a 56k modem is a member of the SecurityGroup for Project will it deploy it? My initial thoughts is that it would. I am thinking creating an OU structure for internal and external users with software only deployed to internal users. Is this a resonsable way to do it? - thanks for any replies
