Group Policies don't apply to the workstations

I've just replaced my old HP Server running NT4 with a nice IBM running W2K3. I've successfully registered the W2K Pro workstations in the new domain.
Everything was working good.

Then I started to deal with Group Policies. I edited the defaul policy for my domain and made a few adjustments just for fun: IE proxy settings and desktop wallpaper.

What happened: works fine at the server: IE settings and desktop wallpaper appear fine at the server. But when any workstation logs on, IE and desktop wallpaper remain unchanged.

What am I doing wrong?

Make sure that the workstations are pointing to your DNS server. Also, you can run these commands on the workstations to make sure the policy does apply:

secedit /refreshpolicy machine_policy
secedit /refreshpolicy user_policy

Tks Ivow, the problem was exactly the DNS poiting.

My fault. But tks anyway!
