Does anyone know how to create a group using Crystal XI on a median calculation? I understand calcuations can't be used as a group. How could I go about it using variables. Thanks in advance for your help

Well, you could do this in a command. Please tell us a little more about what you are trying to do and show actual {table.field} names. It would help to see some sample data.

I'm creating a drillable chart against a Business Objects XIr2 universe using Crystal XI. This chart curently has two groups
1. area
2. countries
I would like to add the median of each country as the third group

The legend should show the area(continents) and the bar chart xaxis should list all countries. I did a series swap from the chart options to color coat all countries by their corresponding continent. This all works great. The chart is drillable. I'm trying to show on the chart the raisers, reading left to right on the screen, lowest median to the greatest median. There's one median per country.

Is it possible to create a group on a median? I appreciate your help on this. Is there's another option other than grouping?
Thanks again

You can insert a summary median by country, then use the top N expert to sort by the median, if that is what you want.

If not please explain what you mean by 'group on a median'.
