I want to schedule a Monthly backup and I created a schedule called "Monthly". I set skip on everyday of the month except the last day. I set the client to this schedule. I set the backup to run at 22:00 in the Group setting, what do I set the interval to?

the interval? the group tells to NW to run a backup at 22:00, the schedule tells to NW to bkacup full, inc, skip at certain day.

what more?

Under Group Managment, if you go to the properties of a group and go to the preferences tab there is a setting called interval that has a default setting of 24 hours. What is this used for?

ah, ok.. it is used when you want to trigger the backup several times in the "same day". Example, if you want to backup something 3 times a day (each 8 hours) you set that field to 8.

Cheers.

The default is 24 hours and it doesn't let you put in 0...how do you turn it off?

you can't put it in 0, it is 1-24. 24 is the default since it is an interval of 24 hours (each 1 day).

Cheers.

The easiest way for a montly backup is the following:
- create a new group
- set the level full for the group
- set autostart to disabled
- set the desired start time
- add all necessary clients to this group
- on the last day of the month, enable autostart and
do not forget to disable it the next day

It is not the best but the easiest way.
