Hi,

I'm trying to automate a diagramm source in Excel via VBA. IN one column I have the ages of a group of people.

17
17
18
18
16

Is it possible to assign a diagramm a data source with the instruction that it should group it as following??

16 1
17 2
18 2

Surely, there must be way of displaing a diagramm with just 1 column, with the 2nd column being the amount!!?

Hi,

I'm not sure whaqt you mean by a diagramm, but the result is a PivotTable.

1. Your column of data must have a HEADING like Age.

2. in the Data/PivotTable Wizard, Layout, drag Age into the ROW AREA and Age into the DATA AREA, as Count of Age.
