Hello all,

Does anyone know the difference in the two grep commands I found on Solaris 8?
/usr/bin/grep
/usr/xpg4/bin/grep

Is /usr/xpg4/bin/grep only included with Solaris 8?

man grep

usually Sun utilities under /usr/xpg4/bin are POSIX compliant.
