1. Do you have any idea as to how I could show the legend on a graph to not include the '@' of the formula - can I create my own legend text?
2. Also, can I format the numbers on my graph to display only whole numbers not eg. '1.6' etc.?

(Using Crystal version 9).

Thank you.

Sure - in 9.0 select an item on your chart (label, data point, slice) then right-click, go to Chart Options, and choose Selected Item. Crystal provides a good amount of control over each individual attribute of a chart.

I have tried this but I don't see where I can change the legend text or format of numbers.
All I am allowed to change is the fill, line or font.

You can change the number format back in the chart expert - make sure 'Automatically Set Chart Options' is turned off, then under the Options tab, select the number format for the data points. On the Text tab, turn off the check box alongside the title you wish to change, and key in your own.

Click on the Data Series (the Line or column or piece of pie) you wish to create your own label for. fter selecting it, right click and look in the drop down for Edit Axis Label (I think... it may say "alias", it's been a few months since I saw 9.0)

Only problem here is that the text is literally hard coded. It doesn't care if this month you have three pieces of pie and next you have four. (ie. If you put the label text in the second series position, it will stay in that position)
