GRAPHIC IMAGES

I have successfully been importing jpg images into a lengthy documdnt-now 70+ pages-and now find I cannot insert any more. When I try, the dotted box appears on screen but with no contents. When I try to import the same image into a new document, the problem does not occur.

Is there a limit to the number of images you can import to a document? Is the process limited by the length of the document?
