Hi,

I have been reading about the the command "gpresult", but can't seem execute it. i have a couple of GP's set up on my Server and would like some help on utilising the command.

thanks

The error is...........Not recognised as an internal or external command, operable program or batchfile.

Beefstew,

If you have downloaded it...then at the DOS prompt, you will have to change to the directory that holds the .exe file so that you can run it.

Hope this helps,

I thought the command "gpresult" was installed when you ran the resourse kit, is that not so?

obviously it didn't update your PATH. By default it's in C:\Program Files\Resource Kit. Go to that directory and see if it's there, then run it....

I have reinstalled the RKST but cannot find any referance to Gpresult. I take i would see it c:\program files

Why don't you just do a search for the GPRESULT file and then copy it into your SYSTEM32 directory. Then you can run it from any path. Glenn
