I have edited the default domain policy to do things such as remove the document selection from the start menu, etc. The policy worked. I then edited the poliy again to include removing the windows update links, but this time the policy was applied to the server but not to the client. There is an error in the event log that states that windows could not determine the computer or user name, would this have anything to do with it? I even tried to change the policy update refresh from 90 mintes to 2 minutes, but the policy was still not applied. Any ideas? Thanks.
