I am trying to setup multiple remote locations to login to a Windows 2000 DC that is housed at my location. Each remote site will be logging in to the DC over a point-to-point T1 using Cisco 1720 routers. I have the routers opened up for broadcast traffic and DNS setup correctly, but it would not login. Once I setup WINS, I was able to login from the remote site, but the GPO does not apply.

Does GPO use DNS? Is there something else that has to be done on the routers to allow this to pass through?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Sean

DNS is a must for a windows 2000 network.
Be sure that your clients are able to find the DNS server.

Got it working. One of the router's config wasn't saved and directed-broadcast wasn't enabled after reboot. It works fine now.

Thanks.
