I was thinking of adopting Dreamweaver, but many forums exist decrying the products many bugs, try Google search for 'dreamweaver sucks'. Can anyone suggest a mres professional/rubust web development package?

Well I have to say in nearly 4 years of using DW (various versions currently MX) the only problem I've encountered is the resources it uses (4 or 5 hours continuous and it ends up with 20,000+ handles open) but actual crashes are few and far between.
But then of course i've never used anything but code view so maybe don't encounter these bugs.

Chris.

every software has its critics, but DW has helped me a lot when it comes to code development...

Not sure you are going to get a objective independant point of view in a "Dreamweaver" forum. But IMHO Dreamweaver beats the rest hands down

from the moment I installed DW /UD 2.0 I never looked back.
its one of the 5 things I REQUIRE on my machine -regardless if I ever use it or not I NEED IT ;-)
1. OS (win2000)
2. Office
3. Adobe Photoshop
4. Dreamweaver
5. FTP program

I'm currently using DW to develop my website...Really like it. It's so helpful to see the design and the code at the same time
