PC with win2k pro, client on NT domain. Office 97 pro works fine when logged on as administrator, when logged on as anyone else spellcheck will not run and is greyed out under tools/options. Tried reinstalling office. Any ideas?

I already had that problem before. You have to apply a security template (compatws) from the "Security Configuration & Analisys" MMC snap-in. I applied that template and it worked fine.

RSBTECH , You are telling the Truth ,, because may be the local user has no privillage too ,, So You have to change the Template of the users so that you can use the Speeling Check ...
