I realize that the best way to learn is 'hands on'. But, are there any good books or manuals out there describing how a computer works and is built from ground up. Also, any good websites will help too. I want to learn about the hardware, BIOS, and any other info on building a computer.

Hundreds - the idiots guides are pretty good. Use google and amazon!
