Inadvertently sent a folder to the Recycle Bin. A few days later, when I realized it was missing, I went to the Bin and it was NOT there. I've had this happen to other items as well, but never wanted to recover them. Is there any way to recover this important, missing Folder? Thank you.

You may get luck if the files have not been over-written in the meantime.

You could try a program like getdataback (google for it) - but in the meantime

Turn that PC off - use another PC to get getdataback.

Now - you need to take that hard drive and mount it as a slave on another PC running getdataback to explore the drive and recover the data because - the one thing you must avoid is writing anything to that drive until you have it back!

Are you looking in the correct Recycle Bin? Each user on your machine would have their own Recycle Bin. Have you tried searching your machine for this folder?
What type of files were in this folder? If they were .exe or .dll or other non-personal data files, then System Restore may have grabbed them?
Recovery programs may be your best bet, but as time goes by, and files get overwritten, anything you recover may be garbled. I wish you good luck however.
