Can anyone please help me out. It appears GoDaddy removes the PHP mail() function from it's hosting clients servers.

What are my other options for sending mail from the server? Can I load some type of web based server or setup a SMTP within my hosting space?

Sorry to be so vague, but in the past with PHP I have only used the mail() function when sending email from completed forms and other various functions.

Move your domains away from GoDaddy to a better web host. I use GoDaddy to register my domains and host them elsewhere.

kenrbnsn,

Thanks for your reply.

Any suggestions as to where to host? Cost is of a little concern as it is for a non-profit org, and the $3.95 per month was very suprising to find.

I would view anything less than $9.99 a good deal for this groups site.

I didn't want to say it in my reply, but I can sell you some hosting space for $108/year ($9/month). Shared hosting, CPanel. Current versions include:
[ul]
[li]Apache Web Server (version:1.3.33)[/li]
[li]PHP (version: 4.3.9)[/li]
[li]MySQL (version: 4.0.22-standard)[/li]
[/ul]
