Global Contacts List ??

Is there a way to contruct a global contacts list in Outlook or Exchange Server? I need for my users to be able to share a unoversal contacts list, that includes outside e-mail users. Any ideas???

huh .. use the exchange server to do that if you have one.
The GAL is there, configure it properly and everyone can use it. If the solution is out there, let us know it was helpful, so others can benefit from it as well..

You may also create a public folder that is a Contacts folder. With the appropriate permissions applied to this Contacts folder, all of your internal staff will be able to access this folder. Appoint someone to maintain it or you will be stuck with the new contacts maintenance.

The alternative is to use the GAL with appropriate Distribution Lists (DLs) created. Again, give the maintenance job to another staff member by assigning ownership of the DL to them.
