all clients as well as this when I try to set up a new client I get the message ' the name could not be resolved. The name could not be resolved to a name in the address list ' Hope you can help
not yet. am a bit worried about doing that during th week as the email is still actually working and if I do that it may stop. Before I do that i`d do the tape backup in case. Just wondering if anybody else had had this problem
Just a thought, but have you checked the clients to see if they are looking at the GAL for their addresses?
In outlook, click on tools / services
Click on the addressing tab
You will see a box with something similar to 'when checking names, use these address books in the following order'. Make sure that the GAL is at the top of the list.
